What is Viagra Connect?
Viagra Connect is the first licenced treatment for erectile problems which can be purchased over the counter. There is no difference between Viagra and Viagra Connect as both contain the same active ingredient, Sildenafil.
How does Viagra Connect work?
Viagra Connect contains the active ingredient Sildenafil. Sildenafil belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5 inhibitors). PDE5 Inhibitors work by relaxing smooth muscle cells on blood vessels to increase blood flow. PDE5 Inhibitors, therefore, increase blood flow in the penis when you are sexually excited
What's the difference between Viagra and Viagra Connect?
Both Viagra Connect and Viagra contain the same active ingredient Sildenafil. The only difference is Viagra Connect can be purchased over the counter without prescription
Can you buy Viagra Connect over the counter?
You can buy Viagra Connect over-the-counter (OTC) at registered pharmacies after a consultation with a Pharmacist. Viagra Connect only comes in one strength of 50mg and in quantities of 4 or 8. You can buy Viagra Connect up to a maximum of 32 tablets at eShop Pharmacy
How long does Viagra Connect take to work?
Viagra Connect should be taken with water approximately one hour before sexual activity with a maximum of one 50mg tablet in any 24-hour period. In order for Viagra Connect to be effective, sexual stimulation is required. Viagra Connect won’t work on its own. You should take Viagra Connect on an empty stomach or with as little food as possible as this can affect its efficacy. You won’t get an erection just by taking Viagra (Sildenafil).
